WOUNAAN RAIN FOREST BASKETS

Handwoven from natural rainforest fibers, colored by extracts from plants and earth, no two baskets are alike.  The original designs portray life in the village, local plants, animals,  and insects.  Income earned from these art baskets reduces the need to destroy the rainforest for agriculture and supports people who are close to extinction.
