Rosy Antered Deer Woman Doll is a creation by Kim Elkins who is known throughout the world for her unique dolls. Recently Kim did a trade for ancient beads from 1200BC. Many of her dolls are embellished with these beautiful and rare beads. Her work has been featured in many quality galleries in the US and collected by people worldwide. Look carefully, maybe this doll has preselected you!
Rosy has a contemplative, serene face surrounded by gray fur and handmade clay antlers. Behind the antlers, there are pale pink and white roses. She is wearing three layers of beads over a Madonna-style robe of handwoven cotton flower print cloth. Her salmon underskirt has a medley of pale pink roses running down the front. She is adorned with many ribbons and a ribbon braid in burnt orange and burgundy. On her backside she is wearing a large antique beaded tassel.
